The motion picture The Passion of the Christ was a movie that profoundly effected milions of people around the world. The depth of suffering and pain inflicted on Christ through the hours leading up to the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ was shown to the degree of violence that many could not even bear to witness on film.

This motion picture was successfuly marketed through the church and other private endeavors and is the most profitable R-rated movie in history.

However, no matter how powerful the visual impact is on people and no matter how moved people are by the scenery, music, or cultural allure-- it is only the Word of God that draws mankind to the Lord and saves souls.

Christians know that the Word of God was the heart of the movie, however, many did not discern the Word of God within the movie and those who know the Word of God must be ready to reveal the Word of God to them. Christians must share the Word of God.

The Passion of the Christ bible study gives a sound Scriptural foundation of what Christ did for mankind on the cross and why He did what He did and why He had to do it.
